ADHD at any age
Whether it's just now coming into focus in adulthood or has shaped your child's school years since kindergarten, ADHD is treatable — and the right plan depends on how it actually shows up for you.
Adult ADHD
Chronic disorganization. Missed deadlines. Difficulty following through, even on things you care about. Restlessness. Emotional dysregulation.
Many adults spend years assuming these are personal failings rather than a treatable pattern.
We help you understand what's actually going on and build a plan — often combining medication management with skills-based therapy — that works with how your brain functions.

Youth ADHD
Trouble sitting still. Homework battles. Big feelings that show up fast. Difficulty following multi-step instructions at school or at home.
ADHD looks different in kids than it does in adults, and it can strain family life and self-esteem long before it's identified.
We treat children from first grade on up, working closely with you — and with your child's school, when it helps — on a plan that fits your family.
How we treat ADHD
Our evidence-based care is built around how ADHD shows up for you. We combine a full diagnostic evaluation with medication management and skills-based therapy, adjusting as we learn what actually helps. Your plan reflects your specific symptoms and goals

A thorough evaluation to confirm what's ADHD and what isn't.
Therapy and/or medication management, including stimulant and non-stimulant options, monitored closely as we find the right fit.
Skills-based therapy and coaching to build systems for focus, organization, and follow-through.
The ADHD treatment process
From your first assessment to ongoing care, we keep things clear and steady in your care.

First, we assess
We learn your (or your child's) symptoms, how they show up at work, school, or home, and what's already been tried. This is where an accurate diagnosis starts.

Then, we build a plan together
This could be medication, therapy, or both — matched to your goals. For kids, we coordinate with parents on an appropriate care plan.

Throughout, we adjust as needed
The right dose and the right strategies often take some tuning. We check in regularly and change course when something isn't working.

FAQ
Common questions about getting started with Emerald Psychiatry
Most patients — children, adolescents, and adults — are eligible for telehealth psychiatric care and therapy. TMS and Spravato require in-person visits because they're administered in our offices. We'll discuss all your options at your first consultation.
Yes. Most major insurance plans cover telehealth the same way they cover in-person visits. Call us to verify your specific coverage before your first appointment.
A device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a private space. Computer, tablet, or smartphone all work fine. We'll send instructions ahead of time.
Completely. HIPAA-compliant, encrypted, confidential. As private as sitting in our office. We never record without your explicit consent.
Absolutely. Many patients start with telehealth and move to in-person care — or alternate between both. We're flexible and will work with whatever changes.
