DUBLIN, Ohio — Emerald Psychiatry, a behavioral healthcare practice founded 11 years ago in central Ohio, announced the launch of a redesigned website and a refreshed brand identity, marking the next step in the practice’s continued expansion across the state. The new site introduces an updated look alongside a simplified path to scheduling an appointment online or over the phone.
“We started Emerald with a singular goal: to give as many people as possible access to high-quality behavioral healthcare,” said Dr. Scott Yoho, Emerald’s founder and CEO. “As we’ve grown into new communities across Ohio, it became clear our website and our look needed to reflect where we are today — a practice that’s significantly bigger than when we started, but just as focused on the patient in front of us. This new site makes it easier for people to find us, understand their options, and get their appointments scheduled quickly.”

Yoho founded Emerald Psychiatry after noting the lack of quality mental healthcare options in his community. As his 30th birthday approached, he left a successful job in sales and returned to school, graduating from Ohio University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011 and completing his psychiatry residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center four years later.
Launched in 2015 with a single provider, Emerald Psychiatry now employs nearly 100 providers and about 30 clinical support and administrative staff. Its footprint has expanded to include offices in Dublin, Reynoldsburg and Cincinnati, in addition to telehealth appointments available to patients across Ohio.
The practice offers therapy and counseling, as well as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), an FDA-cleared treatment, and Spravato (nasal esketamine), an FDA-approved treatment, for depression that hasn’t responded to other approaches.
“Growth is important to us because it gives us the opportunity to help more people,” said Byron Regester, Emerald Psychiatry’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer. “As we reach more patients and communities, we’re investing in the systems and tools that makes care easier to access while preserving the personal attention and clinical quality that our patients deserve.”
Emerald Psychiatry’s new website and visual identity were designed by UnitOneNine, a Dublin-based creative agency founded by Lee Salisbury, working closely with the Emerald team to translate the practice’s growth into a look and feel built for where it is today.
The updated website reorganizes information around the way patients search for care — by condition, treatment and provider — and streamlines online scheduling into a single, consistent experience across every service line and location. It also reflects updated branding, including a new logo and visual identity, that will roll out across the practice’s locations, digital properties and patient-facing materials in the coming weeks.
Alongside the new site, Emerald Psychiatry is also rolling out new scheduling platforms, including a phone-answering solution designed by Pretty Good AI, a company founded by the engineering team that built Outlook for iOS and Android and led Instacart’s AI transformation. The phone solution makes it easier for new and existing patients to reach the practice and get scheduled without voicemails or long hold times.

ABOUT EMERALD’S NEW LOGO

A logo is a promise made visible, and Emerald’s reflects a specific philosophy: We are here to help you become more fully yourself.
The mark communicates two things simultaneously. First, it conveys forward motion — a trajectory of improvement, resilience, and progress. Second, it holds space for individuality. It celebrates the quirks, the complexities, the irreducible uniqueness that makes us so wonderfully human.
